Dr. Nasly Lopez's youngest patient was a mere 2 hours old. The mother of this baby has been a patient of Dr. Lopez's for a very long time and was adjusted all through her pregnancy. The mom was aware that at times during a doctor assisted delivery undue pressure is placed on the baby's neck and head. This pressure can many times create a misalignment in the very delicate neck of a newborn. Heidi, the mom, wanted to make sure that her baby's neck was perfectly aligned given the nature of her birth. She called Dr. Lopez as soon as the baby was born and Dr. Lopez rushed over to check the baby. This procedure took all of one minute and was as gentle as a finger touch. It is so quick and easy given the fact that a baby's neck is mostly cartilage and a minimal amount of pressure is needed to make a correction. As a matter of fact the baby was sleeping when the correction was made and the baby remained asleep during the whole thing.
